The crew has been struggling to deal with the fact that the Bajoran colony of Ephyra has been given to the new Cardassian Union as part of a peace accord between the Cardassian Union and the Hebetian Republic. The colonists are basically blockaded by the Cardassians. Now, the Romulans have offered protection if Nicole Branson will be wedded to Commander T'Ken. This seemed like the solution until Nicole's old love, Colonel Zoe Beamon made a play for the Governor's hand.
It is only interesting on the Star Trek Soap Opera.
