The colonists living in the Bajoran Garden of Ephyra have been dealing with the potential construction of the Polymer Pipeline to move Omega Enriched Dilithium through the Bajoran Wormhole. The construction has led to much protest from the Bajorans over potentail exposure of the prophets or worse an accidental venting that could lead to the release of the Pah Wraiths.
The movement has also lead to protests from the Cardassians. The Cardassian Union under Legate Anwar has been crippled by the war with the Hebetian Republic and has resorted to piracy to help replenish their dilithium supplies.
The colonists have also seen the rise of "big brother" with Star Fleet taking a renewed interest in the colony with the distribution of Dilithium. Star Fleet has built Starbase 332 to observe the colony. Star Fleet has also assigned the USS Kitsune, a battlecruiser to monitor the activities in the region.
All this has led to a very nice 49 posts improving its historical totals at Ephyra to 575.
